For the Gale Watch, northeast winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and extremely rough waters possible. * WHERE...Albemarle, Croatan, and Roanoke Sounds and the Alligator River. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 5 PM Tuesday to 5 PM EDT Wednesday. For the Gale Watch, from Wednesday afternoon through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
