...Light Snow Accumulations Expected Along the North Carolina Tennessee Border through Early Sunday Morning... Rain will quickly transition to snow early Sunday morning across the North Carolina Tennessee border counties. Snowfall totals will be light, with most locations seeing an inch or less of accumulation. However, isolated locations along the North Carolina state line could see accumulations from 1.5 to 2.5 inches. Slippery road conditions may develop Sunday morning, especially across elevated surfaces such as bridges.
