* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the
following counties, Chatham, Davidson, Edgecombe, Franklin, Nash,
Randolph and Wake.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Waves of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain will focus
along a slow-moving cold front and produce 2 to 4 inches of
rain, with locally higher amounts, this overnight through
Thursday evening.
