* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 98. Highs
today will be in the mid 90s. For the Lake Wind Advisory, northeast
winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph expected.

* WHERE...Central and Southeast Phillips, Central and Southern
Valley, Garfield, McCone, and Petroleum Counties.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 2 AM MDT Wednesday. For the
Lake Wind Advisory, from 10 AM this morning to noon MDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create
hazardous conditions for small craft. Hot temperatures and high
humidity may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Waves on Fort Peck Lake will be up to 4 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters on Fort Peck Lake should use extra caution since strong winds
and rough waves can overturn small craft.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
