CDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected with water levels up to 1
to 2 feet above normally dry ground during high tide cycles.

* WHERE...Southern Hancock, Southern Harrison and Southern
Jackson Counties.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 8 AM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of southern Mississippi, including the following
areas, Northern Hancock, Northern Harrison, Northern Jackson,
Southern Hancock, Southern Harrison and Southern Jackson.

* WHEN...Through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms producing locally
heavy rainfall are expected this afternoon and continuing through
Sunday. A large area with rainfall amounts of 4 to 7 inches with
locally higher amounts of 8 to 10 inches is expected in the watch
area through Sunday evening.
