* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Tarkio River at Fairfax.

* WHEN...From Friday morning to Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Low-lying farm fields begin to flood. At
18.0 feet, U.S. Highway 59 north of Fairfax begins to flood. At
19.0 feet, Flooding begins in the vicinity of Corning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
tomorrow morning to a crest of 18.3 feet early tomorrow
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast Kansas, including the following
areas, Atchison KS and Doniphan and Missouri, including the
following areas, Andrew, Atchison MO, Buchanan, De Kalb, Gentry,
Harrison, Holt, Nodaway and Worth.

* WHEN...Through Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rounds of heavy rainfall will be possible Thursday into Friday
morning.
