* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 105
to 110 expected. Additionally, overnight lows may reside in the
mid to upper 70s at times, reducing ability to recover from
daytime heat.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Kansas and central,
north central, and west central Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.
