...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL FRIDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Big Creek at Blairstown.

* WHEN...Until Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Many farm levees along Big Creek are
overtopped. Flooding of rural areas behind the levees occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 17.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
tonight to a crest of 25.6 feet tomorrow evening. It will then
fall below flood stage Thursday evening.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO FRIDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...South Grand River at Urich.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, K Highway is under water approximately 1
mile south of Urich. Many other roads along the river are flooded
as well.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 19.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late tonight to
26.9 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall early
Wednesday afternoon. It will rise to 26.5 feet Wednesday evening.
It will then fall below flood stage Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

KS, Doniphan, Johnson KS, Leavenworth, Linn KS, Miami and Wyandotte
and Missouri, including the following areas, Bates, Buchanan,
Caldwell, Carroll, Cass, Chariton, Clay, Clinton, Cooper, Henry,
Howard, Jackson, Johnson MO, Lafayette, Pettis, Platte, Ray and
Saline.

* WHEN...Through Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Areas of heavy rainfall are likely tonight into Tuesday morning
creating the potential for flooding.
