...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON... ...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of central and west central Missouri, including the following counties, in central Missouri, Cooper, Pettis and Saline. In west central Missouri, Henry, Johnson and Lafayette. * WHEN...Until 215 PM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 511 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated the heaviest rainfall had moved east of the warned area. Flooding is ongoing due to the runoff from earlier heavy rainfall overnight. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
