* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Low-lying rural areas outside of levees
begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 19.6 feet tomorrow
evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Saturday
morning.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and west central
Missouri, including the following counties, in central Missouri,
Cooper, Howard, Pettis and Saline. In north central Missouri,
Carroll, Chariton and Randolph. In west central Missouri, Henry,
Johnson and Lafayette.

* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 444 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Warrensburg, Marshall, Boonville, Knob Noster, Fayette,
Slater, Salisbury, Huntsville, Sweet Springs, Glasgow,
Whiteman Air Force Base, La Monte, New Franklin, Brunswick,
Leeton, Keytesville, Chilhowee, Bosworth, Armstrong and Malta
Bend.
