The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Monday morning through Monday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...In Minnesota, Koochiching, North St. Louis, North Itasca, Central St. Louis, North Cass, South Itasca, South Cass, Crow Wing, Northern Aitkin, South Aitkin, Carlton and South St. Louis and Pine. * WINDS...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 22 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite could spread rapidly and become difficult to control. Outdoor burning is not recommended. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur.
