* WHAT...For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low
as 35 below zero expected. For the Extreme Cold Watch, dangerously
cold wind chills as low as 50 below zero possible.

* WHERE...Southern Cook and Southern Lake Counties. This includes
the Tribal Lands of the Grand Portage Reservation.

* WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, from midnight Wednesday
Night to 6 PM CST Thursday. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from
Thursday evening through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 50 below zero
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional cold weather headlines will likely
be needed for Sunday and Monday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
