For the Extreme Cold Watch, dangerously cold wind chills as low as 50 below zero possible. * WHERE...Southern Cook and Southern Lake Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Grand Portage Reservation. * WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, from midnight Wednesday Night to 6 PM CST Thursday. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from Thursday evening through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 50 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional cold weather headlines will likely be needed for Sunday and Monday morning.
