For the Gale Warning, Highest gusts up to 45 kts from the west and highest waves around 13 feet expected. * WHERE...Portions of Lake Michigan. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 4 PM EST this afternoon. For the Gale Warning, until 7 AM EST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous highest waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for hazardous conditions. &&

Locally higher gusts to 55mph are possible through midnight. * WHERE...Portions of Eastern Upper and Northern Lower Michigan. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down, especially in areas still recovering from the March 2025 ice storm. A few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong winds will also lead to blowing and drifting snow and reduced visibilities in areas that have fresh snow on the ground. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. &&
