* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 and
3 feet possible. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph Sunday afternoon
through Monday.

* WHERE...Dickinson, Iron, Menominee, and Gogebic Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 AM Sunday to 7 PM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel
treacherous and potentially life-threatening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Power outages are possible due to the strong
winds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Prepare for possible power
outages.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use

gusts up to 45 kt and waves 12 to 17 ft expected. For the
Storm Watch, north winds 35 to 45 kt with gusts up to 55 kt
and waves 15 to 20 ft possible.

* WHERE...Saxon Harbor WI to Black River MI, Black River to
Ontonagon MI and Lake Superior from Saxon Harbor WI to Upper
Entrance to Portage Canal MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian
border including Isle Royale National Park.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, from 8 AM EDT /7 AM CDT/ to 8 PM
EDT /7 PM CDT/ Sunday. For the Storm Watch, from Sunday
evening through Monday evening.
