...CAUTIOUS TRAVEL IS ADVISED FOR REDUCED VISIBILITY AND SLIPPERY ROADS THIS AFTERNOON... WEATHER... * Light snow will move across the area this afternoon. An accumulation between a half inch and 1 inch is expected through 6PM. * Air temperatures will range between 22 and 28 degrees. * Wind will be from the west, then shift northwest, sustained at 15 to 20 mph with gusts to around 30 mph at times. IMPACTS... * Light snowfall may lead to slippery roads particularly on bridges, exit ramps and overpasses. * Pockets of moderate snow with mist or haze may reduce visibility to less than 1 mile at times. && PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...; * The combination of snow and cold temperatures will result in; localized slippery conditions, reduced visibility, and; variable traffic rates throughout the county.
