Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches for western Chippewa and eastern Mackinac counties. Locally higher amounts possible. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Eastern Mackinac, Western Chippewa, and Western Mackinac Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Combination of accumulating snow on roads and quick drops in visibility due to strong winds and falling snow will lead to localized hazardous travel. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling. During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather, visibility, and road conditions. &&
