MONDAY...

* WHAT...For the Freezing Spray Advisory, moderate accumulation
of freezing spray. For the Small Craft Advisory, northeast
winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and seas 4 to 7 ft
expected.

* WHERE...Penobscot Bay and Casco Bay.

* WHEN...For the Freezing Spray Advisory, until 10 AM EST this
morning. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 1 AM to 7 PM EST
Monday.

* IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in freezing spray is hazardous.
Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic components
inoperative. Ice accretion on decks and superstructures may
result in some loss of stability. Conditions will be hazardous
to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid or mitigate
hazardous accumulation of ice on their vessel. During freezing
spray conditions the U.S. Coast Guard advises that you ensure all
lifesaving equipment remains free of ice.

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO
1 AM EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 8 and
14 inches. Higher amounts approaching 18 inches are possible along
the coast.

* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, west central, and
western Maine.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...The potential exists for snowbands that will bring
periods of locally heavy snowfall, which will lead to rapid snow
accumulations and extremely dangerous travel conditions.
Significant snowfall and periods of heavy snowfall rates will
combine with low visibility to create very dangerous driving
conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday
morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions can
