EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Cold wind chills of 5 above to 5 below, except near 10
below over higher elevations in north-central Maryland.

* WHERE...The greater Baltimore MD and Washington DC region.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...The cold weather could result in hypothermia if
precautions are not taken.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

locating appropriate shelter from the cold.
