* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Wishard Road and Kemp Mill Road are both
flooded.
At 11.0 feet, Several roads, including Wishard Road, Kemps Mill
Road, Independence Road, Cress Pond Road, and Walnut Point Road,
are flooded north of Williamsport.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 10.5 feet, or 0.5
feet above flood stage.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Potomac River at Shepherdstown.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to late Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Water approaches homes on the West
Virginia side of the river near Shepherdstown, and impacts are
also observed on the Maryland side, not just to the C&O Canal
towpath, but also to roads and structures.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 10.1 feet, or 4.9
feet below flood stage.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 21.8 feet just after
midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage Friday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
