At 657 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Bethel to near Falmouth to 6 miles southwest of Dry Ridge, moving southeast at 85 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Emergency management. Tree damage was reported across Pike county associated with this line of thunderstorms. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Estill, Bath, Pikeville, Prestonsburg, Jenkins, Whitesburg, Coal Run Village, Elkhorn City, Wheelwright, Fleming-Neon, Martin, Pippa Passes, Matewan, Forest Hills, Wayland, Allen, Meta, Pilgrim, Handshoe, and Glo.
