Heavy loads will be at the judgment of the ferry operator considering the 12 ton load limit of ferry. Backcountry camping on the Green River floodplain is prohibited. At 20.1 feet, Launching of paddle craft is prohibited. At 32.0 feet, Green River Ferry closes to all traffic due to high water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 33.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:00 AM CDT Sunday was 33.9 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 34.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight to 20.5 feet early Thursday afternoon. It will rise to 20.6 feet early Friday morning.
