...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT /9 AM CDT/ THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southern Harrison County in south central Indiana... Southern Perry County in south central Indiana... Central Breckinridge County in central Kentucky... Hancock County in central Kentucky... Meade County in central Kentucky... * WHEN...Until 1000 AM EDT /900 AM CDT/. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 701 AM EDT /601 AM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Tell City, Brandenburg, Hardinsburg, Hawesville, Webster, Lewisport, Cannelton, Irvington, Cloverport and Muldraugh. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
