* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon to Sunday, August 23.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Flood waters block access and begins to
surround about 5 to 10 river cabins on south side of the river
just southwest of Newberry.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:30 PM EDT Friday the stage was 5.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Sunday afternoon to a crest of 17.0 feet early Thursday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday,
August 22.
- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Edwardsport.

* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon to Monday, August 24.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Water is at critical levels for makeshift
levees.  Most of bottomlands flood.  Old Vincennes road and State
Road 358 between Plainville and Edwardsport are impassable by
several feet.  High water surrounds river cabins.  This type of
flood occurs on average about once a year.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 AM EDT Friday /6:00 AM CDT Friday/ the stage was 6.5
feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Sunday afternoon to a crest of 20.0 feet Friday, August 21.
It will then fall below flood stage Monday, August 24.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning to Sunday, August 23.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, State Road 157 between Worthington and
Bloomfield begins to flood.  County Road 175 south of Bloomfield
floods.  County Road 100 W between CR 110 N and SR 67 (Jefferson
Twp), CR 850 N between SR 48 and SR 157 (Jefferson Twp), CR 250 W
between SR 54 and CR 250 N (Fairplay Twp), CR 200 W between CR 157
S and CR 260 S (Washington Twp), CR 100 W between CR 100 S and CR
260 S (Washington Twp), and CR 100 W between CR 250 W and the
White River affected by high water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 11.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 23.9 feet early Thursday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday,

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Riverton.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon to Saturday, August 22.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Extensive lowland flooding is in
progress.  High water surrounds many river cabins.  Access to most
river cabins is by boat only.  Levees begin to protect farmland.
Extensive flooding of Leaverton Park occurs in Palestine, Illinois.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM EDT Friday /9:00 AM CDT Friday/ the stage was 6.3
feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 17.4 feet Wednesday evening.
It will then fall below flood stage Friday, August 21.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Saturday, August 22.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Seep water occurs behind levees on Indiana
side.  Hutson Creek begins to overflow from backwater.  Old Darwin
Road and a few rural roads in eastern Clark and Crawford counties
in Illinois are impassable.  Low agricultural land floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tonight to a crest of 18.8 feet early Thursday morning.
It will then fall below flood stage Friday, August 21.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
