...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Petersburg.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 24.3 feet, During April 2013 when Petersburg reached
this level, the water only reached the white line of SR 257 south
of Washington, but never closed the road.  Shoals only went to
11.67 feet during April 2013.  This is the first that locals can
remember such a high stage for Petersburg and SR 257 remaining
open.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 PM EST Friday /7:45 PM CST Friday/ the stage was 19.4
feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:45 PM EST Friday /7:45 PM CST Friday/ was 19.4
feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.4
feet early Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Edwardsport.

* WHEN...Until Friday, March 13.

* IMPACTS...At 22.9 feet, A 25 foot section of Levee Unit 8 failed
at this level on March 6 2011...flooding local roads behind the
levee.  Flooding not nearly as bad as June 2008 levee failure.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 PM EST Friday /6:00 PM CST Friday/ the stage was 20.1
feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 PM EST Friday /6:00 PM CST Friday/ was 20.1
feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.1
feet early Monday morning. It will then fall below flood
stage Friday, March 13.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...East Fork White River at Shoals.

* WHEN...From Sunday morning to Sunday, March 15.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, High water affects low residential areas
on left bank at Shoals. Some evacuations or moving of mobile homes
is necessary. Local roads flood more extensively. Rural residents
move livestock and equipment to high ground. SR 550 floods on
right bank and also between Trinity and Dover Hill.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM EST Friday the stage was 17.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Sunday morning to a crest of 26.3 feet early Wednesday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday, March
15.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
