- At 10:00 AM EST Friday the stage was 18.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tonight to a crest of 28.9 feet early Monday afternoon.
It will then fall below flood stage Sunday, March 15.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...East Fork White River at Williams.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Monday, March 16.

* IMPACTS...At 14.9 feet, On April 24, 2011 extensive flooding in
progress with SR 450 between Bedford and Shoals flooded in at
least 3 locations.  The deepest location was just east of Williams
near the RR tressel.  The next deepest was at Coxton Rd where
backwater from the river extensively flooded Salt Creek.  The last
location was west of Williams near Dillman Rd where backwater from
the river closed the road.  To reach Williams one must use Ridge
Road.  Extensive flooding of many local river roads in Lawrence Co.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tonight to a crest of 15.4 feet Monday evening. It will
then fall below flood stage Sunday, March 15.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, A major flood is in progress. Evacuations
may be necessary near Rockford, near Brownstown and at Shields
Town. Shields Town is located about 6 miles west of Seymour and
according to local residents is a collection of river cabins.  At
this level residents generally leave. Many roads are flooded,
including Lower Rockford Road just south of Reddington Road.
Seventy percent of the flood plain in Jackson County is
underwater, an agricultural disaster during the growing season.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM EST Friday the stage was 19.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:45 AM EST Friday was 19.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall and remain below
flood stage.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Some evacuations in the Fort Ritner area
are necessary. Flooding of low areas in Fort Ritner is in
progress. Backwater floods county roads at some distance from
river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM EST Friday the stage was 19.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this afternoon to a crest of 31.8 feet early Monday morning.
It will then fall below flood stage Sunday, March 15.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
