Fourteen hundred acres of low bottomlands flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 10.3 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall to 10.0 feet this evening. It will then rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to 16.8 feet early Friday morning. It will fall to 16.7 feet early Saturday morning. It will then rise to 17.6 feet Sunday evening. High water approaches river cabins near Davis Prairie Road. Water covers some spots on low county roads. The lower end of Tapawingo Park in West Lafayette begins to flood, along with the Heritage Trail. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 5.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening to a crest of 14.7 feet Friday evening.
