- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late Wednesday morning to a crest of 18.9 feet early Friday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday, March
18.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

* WHERE...White River at Hazleton.

* IMPACTS...At 24.8 feet, Water begins to come in the street at the
corner of West 2nd Street and Brown Street in the town of
Hazleton.  A six inch water pump is installed at 2nd and Brown
Street to keep water off the streets.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.7
feet Friday evening.

at this level on March 6 2011...flooding local roads behind the
levee.  Flooding not nearly as bad as June 2008 levee failure.

feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Mount Carmel.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Extensive lowland flooding in progress.
Some mobile homes must be moved if water rises higher.
Installation of flood gate A at Mount Carmel is necessary.  Access
to local camp sites are blocked, but minimal impact to commercial
activities because of gate closure.  In Wabash County Illinois, CR
1280 E and South Division Street are flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
