Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 408 AM CDT, multiple stream gauges indicated levels above flood stage across the advised area. Streams may remain above flood stage into Friday. Some poor drainage areas may continue to recede slowly. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hammond, Gary, Portage, Merrillville, Valparaiso, Schererville, Hobart, Crown Point, Highland, Munster, Chesterton, Cedar Lake, Griffith, Dyer, St. John, Lake Station, South Haven, Winfield, New Chicago and Burns Harbor. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
