* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Lafayette.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 14.9 feet, Lowland flooding develops. High water
approaches river cabins near Davis Prairie Road.  Water covers
some spots on low county roads. The lower end of Tapawingo Park in
West Lafayette begins to flood, along with the Heritage Trail.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 9.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 13.5 feet tomorrow
evening. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday
evening.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Five Crossings, a local county river park
at old U.S. Highway 136 bridge site, begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 13.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 18.7 feet Thursday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.

* WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Park in southern Montezuma begins to
flood.  Higher bottomlands begin to flood.  Water backs up most
local tributaries.  River water is at the top of some private
levees.  Lowest county roads begin to flood.  Parke CR 75 W begins
to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 15.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:45 PM EDT Tuesday was 15.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.5
feet Thursday evening. It will then fall below flood stage
early Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
