This gust front was located along a line extending from 20 nm west of Elgin to 17 nm northeast of Wind Pt., moving southeast at 25 to 30 knots. Locations impacted include... Winthrop Harbor and Waukegan Harbor. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots and locally higher waves.
