Special Weather Statement
Issued: 6:13 AM Apr. 30, 2025 – National Weather Service
...PATCHY DENSE FOG EARLY THIS MORNING... Patchy dense fog has been reported in southeast Illinois where heavy rain fell yesterday. Visibility may fall below one mile at times through early morning, leading to potentially hazardous travel conditions. Be sure to slow down if you encounter dense fog. Use low beam headlights if driving, and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle ahead. High clouds spreading in from the west should work to improve visibility over the next few hours.
