...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...West to northwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to
around 60 mph expected. Isolated gusts of 60 to 65 mph are
possible.

* WHERE...Central and northern Iowa, including I-35 and I-80.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
