...PREPARE FOR VERY COLD CONDITIONS...

If you plan to venture outside early Tuesday morning, prepare for
cold wind chills.

For many areas this will be the coldest air mass since January
2018. With temperatures early Tuesday in the mid and upper 20s,
plus north to northeast winds of 6 to 12 mph inland and as high as
15 to 20 mph along the coast, wind chills will be down in the mid
and upper teens between 5 and 9 am Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be sure to dress in warm clothes before you head outside. If you
plan to drive, bring along warm clothes and a winter weather
survival kit.

River Flood Warning
Issued: 1:13 AM Jan. 21, 2020 – National Weather Service
The Flood Warning continues for
The Savannah River at Burtons Ferry.
* At 8 PM Monday the stage was 15.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast, the river will remain nearly steady or slowly fall.
* At 15.0 feet, flooding of some adjacent agricultural lands occurs.
Most boat ramps along the river are unusable.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Savannah River near Clyo.
* At 7 PM Monday the stage was 13.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast, the river will continue rising to near 13.9 feet by early
Wednesday morning. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* At 13.3 feet, one foot of water covers Tom Goethe Road just after
the pavement ends.
