...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following counties, Bryan, Liberty and McIntosh. * WHEN...Until 645 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 505 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated widespread showers and thunderstorm with torrential rainfall extending across eastern Liberty County. As much as 2 to 4 inches of rain has fallen this afternoon. An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain could fall through 645 PM. The risk for minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas continues. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Halfmoon Landing, Harris Neck, St. Catherines Island, Sunbury and Seabrook.
