...INCREASED FIRE DANGER IN NORTHEAST GEORGIA FROM 11 AM THIS
MORNING THROUGH THIS EVENING...

Dead brush and leaf litter have become very dry in northeast
Georgia, and will continue to dry today as relative humidity
becomes very low, less than 20 percent. Winds also will gust to 20
to 30 mph at times this afternoon. Altogether, these conditions
will allow fires to spread quickly once started.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn today. If you do burn, use extreme caution since
fires can quickly get out of hand under these conditions.
