...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 10 AM EST MONDAY... ...FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING... * WHAT...For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 13 in southeastern Georgia and as low as 18 expected in portions of northeast Florida. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures as low as 24 possible resulting in "Hard Freeze" conditions in some locations. * WHERE...Portions of northeast and northern Florida and southeast Georgia. * WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 1 AM to 10 AM EST Monday. For the Freeze Watch, from late Sunday night through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 degrees could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Appropriate action should be taken to ensure tender vegetation and outdoor pets have adequate protection from the cold temperatures. Young children, the elderly and the homeless are especially vulnerable to the cold. Take measures to protect them. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside.
