The areas affected include...
Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 0-20 nm...

At 456 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
near Satellite Beach, moving north at 10 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.

Frequent cloud to water lightning is occurring with this storm. If
caught on the open water stay below deck and, if possible, avoid
ungrounded metal objects. Remember, lightning can strike beyond 10
miles away from a thunderstorm.

THROUGH 515 PM EDT...

At 441 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Satellite Beach, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Palm Bay, Melbourne, Cocoa Beach, Satellite Beach, and Indialantic.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Seek
safe shelter inside a sturdy building or hard-topped vehicle.
Remember, lightning can strike beyond 10 miles away from a

- At 433 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
