...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH
THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 30 to 50 mph with gusts up to 70 mph
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Colorado, northwest
and west central Kansas, and southwest Nebraska.

* WHEN...From late Wednesday night through Thursday afternoon.  The
highest winds gusts will occur before noon, then decline during
the afternoon.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property and
cause power outages. Travel could be dangerous, especially for
high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...These winds may cause corridors of blowing
dust with near zero visibility downwind of loose soil.  These
winds will also cause any fire started to grow explosively.
