* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Southeastern Inyo County in south central California...
San Bernardino County in southern California...
Southeastern Nye County in south central Nevada...
Southwestern Clark County in southern Nevada...

* WHEN...Until 900 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Some low-water
crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 722 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Pahrump, Shoshone, Tecopa, Dumont Dunes and Sr 127 Near Dumont
Dunes.

Amboy. Radar estimates 1 to 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash
Flooding remains a threat.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
