...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM PST TUESDAY... * WHAT...Up to 1.5 ft of inundation above ground level is possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE...Monterey Bay. * WHEN...From 4 AM Sunday to 3 PM PST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...At the Monterey tidal gauge, high tide is expected to be: 1.0 ft above normal (6.3 ft MLLW) at 8:28 AM Sunday 1.5 ft above normal (6.8 ft MLLW) at 9:07 AM Monday 1.2 ft above normal (6.6 ft MLLW) at 9:46 AM Tuesday These prediction include up to 1.0 ft of storm surge that will enhance the astronomical tide and flooding threat. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
