...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southern portions of the following counties... Santa
Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding, rock slides, mudslides, and minor debris
flows.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 441 PM PST, moderate to locally heavy showers are re-
developing over the Advisory area and will continue to do so
through the early evening hours. This activity will be
capable of producing minor flooding, along with rock slides
and mudslides. Minor debris flows on area burn scars will be
possible, including the Palisades and Franklin Burn Scars.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Ventura, Santa Barbara,
Camarillo, Fillmore, Malibu, Ojai, Montecito, Agoura Hills,
Chatsworth, Woodland Hills, Northridge, Santa Ynez, Encino,
Van Nuys and Santa Monica.
And...the Palisades and Franklin Burn Scars.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...The following counties... Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa
Barbara.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM PST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. Mud
slides, rock slides, and debris flows possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- The potential for heavy downpours will prolong the risk for
flooding, mud slides, rock slides, and debris flows through
early this evening.
