* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 6 to 10 feet for south and
southwestern-facing beaches and 4 to 7 feet for west-facing
beaches. Strong and dangerous rip and longshore currents.
Minor coastal flooding from a combination of high surf and
high astronomical tides.

* WHERE...San Diego County coastal areas and Orange County
coastal areas.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Saturday morning to 11 PM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected. Dangerous swimming and
surfing conditions and beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Predicted tides for La Jolla, CA: Sat,
Sep 5 2026: 6.0 feet at 4:48 PM PDT Sun, Sep 6 2026: 6.3 feet
at 6:03 PM PDT Mon, Sep 7 2026: 6.7 feet at 7:03 PM PDT Tue,
Sep 8 2026: 6.8 feet at 7:54 PM PDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
