For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding expected due to the combination of high tides and elevated surf. * WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County Coastal Areas. * WHEN...For the Beach Hazards Statement, through late tonight. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 5 AM Monday to 5 PM PDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Minor coastal flooding and minor coastal erosion expected during high tides. Additionally, elevated surf will lead to strong rip currents. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Elevated surf of 3-5 feet expected. Local sets to 6 feet possible on south-facing beaches. Morning high tides are expected to peak between 6.8 and 7.1 feet through Wednesday, highest on Tuesday morning. The listed tide predictions have been corrected to reflect current trends in actual tide observations. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
