...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING... * WHAT...Minor coastal flooding due to high astronomical tides of 7 to 7.5 feet and surf to 3 to 5 feet. * WHERE...San Diego County coastal areas and Orange County coastal areas. * WHEN...Through Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...Areas of flooding from tidal overflow in low lying areas, boardwalks, beach parking lots, and beach adjacent streets. Beach erosion. Highest impacts expected during high tides in the evening. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A 2 foot south swell (from 190 degrees) at 13-15 seconds will lead to surf 3-5 feet at south-facing beaches. Elsewhere, surf of 2-4 feet is expected. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions. &&
