SATURDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast California, including the following
areas, Cadiz Basin, Death Valley National Park, Eastern Mojave
Desert, Eastern Sierra Slopes, Morongo Basin, Owens Valley, San
Bernardino County-Upper Colorado River Valley, Western Mojave
Desert and White Mountains of Inyo County.

* WHEN...From late tonight through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may be flooded. Storm drains and ditches may become
clogged with debris.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A weather system carrying above-normal moisture will push
into the region this weekend. The greatest rainfall potential
in our forecast area exists across southeastern California,
where rainfall totals can exceed 2.00 inches in the higher
terrain over the next 36 hours.

* WHAT...South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

* WHERE...In California, Owens Valley. In Nevada, Esmeralda and
Central Nye County.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and may
produce areas of blowing dust. Tree limbs could be blown down and
a few power outages may result.
