...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Northern San Francisco Bay Area (Napa, Sonoma, and Marin counties). * WHEN...Through Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low water crossing may become flooded. Standing water is likely in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Moderate to heavy rain associated with an atmospheric river will impact the region. An additional 0.25-1.0" of rain is expected in the valleys during the watch period, with up to 1.25" in the coastal mountains. Area rivers, streams, and creeks that are prone to flooding could see rapid rises during and after heavy rainfall. There is a slight chance for flash flooding, particularly in urban areas through Monday afternoon.
