...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM PST FRIDAY... ...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PST SATURDAY... * WHAT...For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 12 to 18 feet and dangerous rip currents. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, moderate coastal flooding possible. * WHERE...San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara County Central Coast Beaches. * WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 9 PM PST Saturday. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 2 PM PST Friday. * IMPACTS...For the High Surf Advisory, there is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats near shore. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tide around 7 feet (MLLW) is expected to occur between 7 AM and 11 AM. There is a high risk for breaking waves at Morro Bay Harbor entrance and flooding at Oceano Dunes State Park. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Do NOT drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions, or stay near occupied lifeguard towers. Rock jetties can be deadly in such conditions, stay off the rocks. &&
