Strong winds may move loose debris, result in minor damage
property, and cause sporadic power outages. Travel could become

wind and moist soils will increase the risk for downed trees.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 3 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible from multiple lines of showers and thunderstorms, strong
at times, moving across the area.

* WHERE...San Francisco County, San Mateo Peninsula, East Bay, South
Bay, and Central Coast

* WHEN...Through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low water crossings
may become flooded. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban
areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Numerous lines of showers and thunderstorms will move across the
Bay Area and Central Coast through Friday evening. An additional
1-3" of rain is expected across the interior with locally higher
totals between 3-5" across the Santa Cruz Mountains and up to 8"
across the Santa Lucia Range. Flooding potential will increase
with each successive round of rain. Sharp rises in smaller creeks
and streams are expected with at least some potential for minor
flooding in mainstream rivers.

...DANGEROUS MARINE CONDITIONS ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS OF
CENTRAL CALIFORNIA THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING DUE TO WIDESPREAD GALE
FORCE WINDS WITH ASSOCIATED STEEP SEAS AND THREAT OF THUNDERSTORMS
AND ISOLATED WATERSPOUTS...

A powerful complex of surface lows are forecasted to move through
the waters over the next three days, bringing dangerous and life-
threatening conditions across the waters. Widespread gale force
southerly winds will persist with peaks of storm force winds
overnight Tuesday night and again Thursday morning.

The strong winds will bring dangerous and very steep, choppy
seas. The storm will also bring the threat of thunderstorms, some
of which could be strong, with locally damaging winds. Conditions
are also favorable for isolated waterspouts.

Monitor NOAA Weather Radio for the latest information, forecasts,
and warnings. This will be a dangerous storm and mariners should
exercise extreme caution and are urged to remain in safe harbor
for the duration of the storm.
