* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 5 to 8 feet, with local sets to
9 feet on west-facing beaches. Large breaking waves in
combination with higher than average tides will lead to minor
coastal flooding, most likely during morning high tides.

* WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas.

* WHEN...From 4 AM Monday to 10 AM PST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected. Dangerous swimming and
surfing conditions and localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Predicted high tides at La Jolla: 6.4
feet (MLLW) at 08:54 AM PST Monday, 4.4 feet at 10:11 PM PST
Monday, 5.9 feet at 09:34 AM PST Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
