...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM MST /130 AM PDT/ WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of west central Arizona, including the following county, La Paz and southern California, including the following counties, Riverside and San Bernardino. * WHEN...Until 130 AM MST /130 AM PDT/. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1023 PM MST /1023 PM PDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Blythe, Midland, Blythe Airport, Nicholls Warm Springs, East Blythe, Ehrenberg and Poston. - Interstate 10 and HWY 95 - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
